As we all know, the importance of correct training cannot be overemphasised. We strongly urge all potential competitors to prepare themselves and their horses for the FEHL League by participating in at least one of our Training Clinics. N.B.! These are organised for the benefit of FEHL competitors only.

Thanks to the generosity of Horse Sport Ireland (HSI), we are able to offer our participants a variety of training options:

A series of Four Evening Sessions (ES) held during the month of May at Dollanstown Stud, Kilcock, Co. Kildare.

The purpose of these clinics is to show potential competitors the correct way of presenting their young horses in the correct outline and balance from which their genetic and athletic potential can best be realised. The Trainer will give individual help to each participant with his/her horse, in basic flatwork and in jumping, ca 50% of each.

Conditions: Limited to 16 participants, on a strictly first-come-first-served basis; restricted to 4- and 5-year old horses meeting FEHL eligibility criteria and one horse per rider.

Entry Fee: €160 for the series, plus a deposit of €100 per horse (which is NOT REFUNDABLE but will be credited when entries to Qualifiers are made).

Four Introductory Clinics (ICI to IC4) held at different FEHL venues during May to July. These clinics, also for 4- and 5-.year olds, will consist of a basic flatwork session in the morning and jumping in the afternoon and will introduce competitors to the tests and the type of fences they are likely to encounter at the League Qualifiers.

Conditions: Number of entries is limited, on a strictly first-come-first-served basis; restricted to 4- and 5-year old horses only, meeting FEHL eligibility criteria.

Entry Fee: €60 per clinic plus a deposit of €75 per horse (which is NOT REFUNDABLE but will be credited when entries to Qualifiers are made).
